I just wanted to say that your movie Bound By Honour/Blood In Blood Out was really good...There were lot of similarity's to my life. dear victor, excuse my writings. i broke my elbow on tuesday and i have to type one-handed. while i was waiting my turn in the er i read many pages of your book and i am more than half way through it. i felt your pain as i read it. i was abused by my father when i was very young and i ran away from home. it was the best thing for me. i did tell my dad that i know what he did to me. i dont remember an apology from him, but the important thing for me was that i confronted him. i come from a very large family and i currently dont have a relationship with my eight sisters and my dad. rebecca

Well Mr. Victor R. Your a presentor at a conference in Keystone Colorado at the end of the month. I am looking forward to hearing your story and meeting you in person. You were such a great actor in Blood In/Blood Out that's one of my favorite movies to watch when I need a little pick me up from the hard stresses of life. I am coming from the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe in Southwest Colorado where I am a director of a tribal operated Youth Shelter within the Four Corners area here on our reservation. Best of luck and hope to see you in a couple of weeks. Constance

Thank you Robin. I want to add that if someone knows of abuse but is afraid to do anything because of recourse - it can and probably will happen. Just know that the truth does prevail. We knew if we called the police they would lie to come out ahead. Luckily I had friends that were on different police forces and they said to let it happen because the truth would come out. After I turned my best friend in they accused my husband of an affair w/the 13 year old daughter but the detective on the case was able to dismiss it with just a phone call to my husband. Please - do what you know is right - even if your head tells you not to. Kids cannot protect themselves - they need us to do that.
