Hey Victor! I just finished reading your book, man. I can fully relate to your story. i was abuse as a child too. My mother was the abuser though. Like you believed your father was mentally ill, I believe my mom was ill too. You were lucky to have people to see through the pain you were going through to see the young man you were and not what your father tried to make you out to be. Victor, Victor...I never knew you were an author, as well as an actor. This message is pretty shallow in the sense that I just have to say that you are, literally, one of the most attractive men I have ever laid eyes on. As the Magic character, you stole the movie. (sorry Miklo)lol. In What's Cooking, you were brilliant. You play a tough 'wiseguy' better than even Robert DeNiro can. My mom is from Nicaragua and my dad from Kentucky. In my humble opinion, you should keep the "Rivas" instead of Rivers. It's sexier and it's you. Just knowing you're Cuban and not a gringo playing Latinos has made me an even bigger fan.
