I just saw you on Montel a few minutes ago and you were amazing. You were so inspiring. What's even great is that you are this tall, strong, built man who had absolutely no shame or shyness in displaying your hurts, struggles and emotions. You stayed true to your heart and stayed true to the dignified morals and values your mother ingrained in you. I think God created you with your heart and soul on the outside. You are a walking example of how people can truly change their past around and create their own destiny. As a nineteen year old, you have inspired me to look up to people like you and you have motivated me to become a more proactive member in society by helping others. Dear Victor: I am currently watching ye on Montel and oh my gawd it sounds like ye are speaking of my father and my mum,like ye Victor and ye mum I went thru the same thing,beatings,starvation,special paddle that my dad made for my step-mum to spank me with,I still have the scars today from the nails on my bum,he would pull the plank from under my bed that held the box spring in place and he would start out beating my head then my shins,it would be days before I could walk normal again,that probably explains why I miss so much school when I was 6,7,8 and 9,when I was 5 he took me from my mum just like ye dad did with ye and like ye he took me from North Highlands,Ca to St. Petersburg,Fla and he did not take me because he loved me he did it to hurt my mum whom never did a thing to him except to be his punching bag,in fact he decided he did not want me by the time I was 9 and I was put into the Foster Care system,my first foster home I recall my foster mum hitting me on the head with a broom stick all the time so finally one night I ran away and was then placed in another home but these foster parents Victor loved me and wanted to adopt me and my dad then took me back,was then sent to a girl camp in Brooksville,Fla...gawd I got so much more to tell ye what I went thru that even I like yerself could write a book but will only ask ye this question,how can I heal?,I'm 47 yrs old with 5 kids and 3 grandsons,I hate to be touched espsecially near my head,face and bum,I hate this man so much and before he died I had called to tell him I was having his 4 grandchild and he would not even talk to me but instead had my step-mum tell me that he had disowned me due to a photo he claims I stole,the man is in my head 24/7 and cannot get him out,are ye familiar with the song by Jimmy Wayne?...the song is (I love you this much) the first time I saw that video I thought of my dad and for some reason the song chokes me up every time I hear it! Thankye Victor for being there for so many people such as meself,ye know what it feels like to be hurt and abused,keep up the good work,I called Borders and they have ye book on hold for me which I will purchase this week,would be grand if ye could make it to Waterton,NY With warm regards,Irish Cornaire

Victor, I watched you on Montel this morning,which i wouldnt have but i am sick today. I am so glad that you are sharing your story with the public as an actor i feel your story will impact an enormous amount of people. Thank you for being the man you are today,thank god that you survived your childhood and now are an inspiration to others. I watched you on Montel today and the things you were saying really hit close to home. I was physically and verbally abused (to the point of brainwashing) by a husband that I thought loved me. Strange how people change once you say "I do". It has been 14years and I still have problems coping. I will be getting your book soon. Thanks for your openess about your life. It is an inspiration to me.

I'm watching Montel at this very moment and you are his guest. I wanted to tell you that I've gone through domestic abuse in great scale and I know how your mother must have felt. I've filed for divorce and I'm praying that soon, I'll see the light at the end of the tunel. I can't wait to get your book!
