Hello Mr. Rivers.
I remember watching you in Blood In Blood Out. And this am, I watched the Montel Williams Show. and there you were. I must say, your story is a true testimony, of strength and much courage. You will make a difference in someones life, Mr. Rivers. Most men do not address issues like this, and you coming forward like this, does take courage. God is with you. Pull on him for strength and guidance Mr.Rivers. Your Mom looks like a sweet lady. She's tru;y blessed. I wish you all the best in your journey. I'm from Toronto, Canada. I'm hoping one day you will come by and be a guest speaker, that would be good!
Peace Be Unto You and your family.

I'm not sure if you remember me. I was in your senior class. Yea Go RAMS!!
My sis (in Ft Lauderdale) called me this morning as you were on the Montel show. I will not see the show until 3 pm.
I am happy for your success, and proud that you are able to spread the word about domestic violence!
I also had to contend with a terrible experience 22 years ago with my marriage. I did re-marry 14 years ago. He's a chef and yes I do eat good and I don't cook.
I'm live in Tampa now and I'm so sorry I missed the book signing a couple of weeks ago.
Keep up the fabulous work and I hope many people are helped by you inspiration.

Dear Mr. Rivers,
Like many here, I, too, witnessed you on the Montel Williams show today. As I listened to your testimonial of your childhood, or should I say lack thereof, I found myself tearing uncontrollably. My heart has never been so touched than by your accounts of brutal abuse by the hand of your father. I truly believe you are living a heroic outcome due to your beliefs in God and having the courage to stand up for yourself and KNOW that you are a valuable, strong man who has so much to offer the world. I commend you for holding on to that strength, even in the darkest moments of your life, and having the courage to speak and reach out to others who need help. It is remarkable that you have become a dedicated husband and father. It is evident that you have broken the cycle and by doing so, you have shown others they, too, can overcome their demons.
I wish you and your family the best and I will pray that you and your siblings stay on the healing road. Thank you for sharing your strength.
With much gratitude,
Lisa Taylor

Victor saw you on Montel... I am glad you have been able to over come your awful childhood and are trying to bring some good from your tragedies. I know by sharing your story you will help others! It's unfortunate any child or person ever has to live through such ugliness. You should be proud of yourself, your life as it is now and your son (he seems to be amazing young man and very proud of you). Good Luck!!!!

Hi Victor,
Just saw the show today on Montel. You and your family are very brave to have lived through the abuse of your father and still be here to tell about it. To take something so bad and put it to use to help others is brave and we applaud you!
God has good things in store for you and your siblings.I also watched the love in your eyes for your Mom, wife and son. You are an very good person, it shows in your eyes. God bless you and your family!

Hello Victor,
I got up this morning and turned on the tv to watch my usual talk shows which one of them happens to be Montel. I saw your face and thought it looked familiar...I knew I saw you in movies but not sure which ones. As I continued to watch and listen I also started to tear up. Your story is so touching, so emotional and I commend you for speaking out and being a advocate to this virus in our society. I am a firm believer that God allows us to experience certain experiences in order to save others and that's exactly what happened to you. You are now saving others. Thank you for being YOU!!!
