Victor. I am one of many who watched montel and saw u on there. I just saw the last 10 min of the show. Enough to get the name of your book. I just finished reading it a few min ago. Still in awwww of your journey thru life. I am Happy to know that u and your family (immediate and extended ) are doing well.. I myself have had a great upbringing, but your story has brought me to the realization that I can do my part to help break the cycle of domestic violence. Thankyou for your story. May there always be a rainbow in your sky.

I too saw Victor on Montell and was so touched by his story and by the support of his family. I went right online and bought his book, a wonderful story by a survivor. I am also a survivor of abuse and have broken that ugly chain. My children will never live the life I did. Thank you so much for getting your story out.

victor, I saw you on the montel show as alot of other people did your story was truely inspiring and just shows how strong a person could be! It reminds alot of another person, Dave Pelzer who also wrote about his brutal childhood abuse in the book "A child called It" I look forward to reading your book and think that yourself and David pelzer are outstanding individuals.

Victor, I saw you on the Montel show the other day and your story made me cry. I was so touched by your story, your courage, your strength. I was badly abused by my son's father and I related to your fear, your anger. You really made me think a lot about how a person that's went through what we have can sit around and feel sorry for thereselves for years or take a stand and speak out and fight against domestic violence abuse. You picked yourself up and faught, that's hard to do. You could have grown up to hurt others and live a life of crime and you chose not to. I pray that you will continue to speak out and encourage other's to be strong enough to finally get out of their abusive situations. No one should have to live and suffer like you did, like many people have to. I wish you the best and many blessings. Thanks for your story.

I loved you in blood in/blood out, and remember you in zorro. I never knew much else until montel's show yesterday. you are an inspiration. I think you would make a great addition to the ER show as LUKA's brother. You are as good looking as he is. I wish I could do more to help your cause, I too come from a family of abuse but more neglect and finally was adopted by the age of 5 by a wonderful mom and dad. I don't speak much about prior to that because when i do everyone says "oh you can't possibly remember all that, you were too young". But, I Do. I wish you all the luck and much much more acting jobs that show all that you have to offer. your permanent fan.

Hi Victor, I saw you on the Montel Show today and was totally shocked to hear about you and your family's traumatic past at the hands of your father. My son & I have been long time fans of yours and have always had a deep admiration for you as an ACTOR. Now I can say we have an even DEEPER admiration for you as a PERSON, I truly believe that GOD SAVED YOU & GAVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO ENDURE & OVERCOME, so that you could go on to save others. Your honesty, courage, and perserverance to succeed in LIFE can only be seen to myself and I'm sure to others as "OUR LIVES ARE BUT ONE, SO CHERISH TO THE FULLEST". I am not a big book reader, but your life story has really touched my heart and I definetly will be reading your book. I totally agree with another fan of yours that you should also appear on The Oprah Show (world-wide audience) to further your Mission on Awareness of Domestic Abuse, I will be e-mailing that request to her. Victor , God Bless You & Your Family & Your Mission.

Ive been through physical, verbal and emotional abuse im 21 and on my own now....but i was abused when i was younger by my step father he used to hit me my mother and siblings and never touched his own..treat us like outcasts like nobody his slaves, then when my mom left him she turned into him, A MONSTER! Eventually as a teenager i retaliated...... my biggest challenge was myself trying to get over all that had taken place. My life has became that much harder fighting the negativity i carried on my shoulder anknowledging it was the first step i tried therapy pills, crying, writing.... everything now with the self-esteem anew i am now at one with myself...my last hope was medication (for five yrs i was on meds)the only solution that worked, as of two mos ago ive been off.....i took myself off slowly i didnt want to feel i had to take med's for the rest of my life I revcieved medical advice i work in the med feild; I'm happy now.....my mom and i have made amends we forgave eachother. I couldnt be happier GOD IS GOOD...what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.....I admire and respect you.....

Me too...it was my mother. I applaud your courage in telling everyone about it. When I saw you on Montel, it felt like you are my brother. You are a hero...we all are. But I'm so mad at the teachers and authority figures who didn't stop it, who wouldn't interfere. Good luck with the rest of your life. I'm glad you made it. Suzanne
